Use Settings As Your Account Hub
Settings is where you manage your identity, login methods, account security, connected accounts, emails, institutional access, team workspace, and account deletion. Review it before inviting collaborators, connecting external services, or launching sensitive research.

Review Account Security
Step 1: Open Settings. Use the top navigation or command palette to go to Settings.
Step 1: Open Settings
Step 2: Check Login Information. Confirm the email address and sign-in method are current.
Step 3: Turn on Two-Step Verification. Use two-step verification for accounts that manage live surveys, response exports, API keys, or team workspaces.
Step 4: Review Connected Accounts. Remove accounts you no longer use and confirm that connected identity providers belong to you.
Step 5: Check email preferences. Make sure important account and security messages reach the right inbox.
Manage Profile And Workspace Identity
- Profile Picture: choose the photo or initials that teammates will see in shared workflows.
- Institutional access: review any institution-linked access before relying on it for a class, lab, or project.
- Team workspace: confirm the right workspace owns shared surveys, Library material, and credentials.
- Connected accounts: keep only the providers you actively use for sign-in or integrations.

Delete An Account Carefully
Account deletion is permanent. Before deleting, export needed survey responses, transfer ownership of shared work, revoke API keys, and document where active participant links or team assets should live next.
- Back up survey data. Export responses and files for any study you may need to retain.
- Transfer team responsibilities. Make sure collaborators can still access shared surveys, Library assets, and credentials.
- Close public collection if needed. Pause or close live surveys before removing the account that manages them.
- Delete only when the record is settled. Follow the confirmation flow in Settings after the backup and transfer steps are complete.
