How Do I Create a Classroom?
Open Settings → Upgrade and look for the Classroom card below the individual plans. Selecting it opens a short setup form:
Name the classroom — e.g. "Statistics 101, Fall 2026."
Step 1: Set up a classroom
- Set the number of students. This is your starting seat count — you can buy more later if the class grows (see How Do I Add More Seats to a Classroom?).
- Set the semester's start and end dates. Access for students automatically ends on the semester end date (see What Happens When a Classroom's Semester Ends?).
- Choose a class code, or generate one. Students use this exact code to join — see How Do I Join a Classroom as a Student?.
- Pay for the seats. Classroom seats are $5 each, billed once for the whole semester — not a recurring subscription. The classroom is created only after payment succeeds.
