How Do I Manage My Lab Plan?
If you purchased a Lab Plan, a Lab Admin link appears in the top navigation. Only the person who purchased the plan sees this link and can manage it.
- Seats. The top of the page shows how many Standard and Pro seats you've purchased and how many are currently assigned.
Add an email. Enter an email, choose Standard or Pro, and select Add. This only works while a purchased seat is still free for that plan — see below for buying more.
Add a member's email
- Move someone between plans. Use the plan menu next to a member's name to move them from Standard to Pro or back, as long as a seat is free on the target plan.
- Remove a seat. Removing someone frees their seat immediately — you can reassign it to a different email right away without buying another seat.
- Buy more seats. If your lab grows past what you originally purchased, use "Add seats" under the plan you need more of. This updates your existing subscription (prorated for the time remaining) rather than starting a new purchase.
A member's status shows Pending until someone actually signs in with that email, then switches to Active. There's nothing for them to click to accept — access applies automatically the moment they have an account under that email.
The Lab Plan itself is billed annually and renews automatically like any other subscription, through the same billing account used to purchase it.
