How Do Students Submit Work to Their Professor?

Use the Submit to professor action on a survey to notify your professor with either a live link or an automatic frozen copy.

How Do Students Submit Work to Their Professor?

From the survey list, right-click (or open the row menu on) a survey you created inside the classroom and choose Submit to professor. This notifies your professor immediately — see Can I See What My Students Are Working On?.

Step: Submit to professor

What actually gets sent depends on a setting the professor controls, not you:

  • Link (the default): your professor gets a link to your live, up-to-date survey.
  • Frozen copy: a snapshot of the survey exactly as it stood at the moment you submitted is saved and sent instead. This happens automatically — you don't need to save a version yourself first.

You can only submit a survey you created yourself, and only while the classroom is still active.
